Nuffield Foundation and University of Leeds Reveal Employment Challenges in Arthritis in a New Study

A comprehensive study funded by the Nuffield Foundation and conducted by the University of Leeds’ Academic Unit of Health Economics has shed new light on how arthritis affects employment in the UK. This two-year, large-scale data project examined the experiences of 20,000 individuals with arthritis compared to those without the condition. The research, which was enhanced by the insights of people living with arthritis and guided by external advisors, provides a robust evidence base to inform policy and workplace practices.
