WORKWELL is a clinical trial testing a new work rehabilitation programme (the WORKWELL programme) for employed people with Inflammatory Arthritis who are having problems at work due to arthritis.
Interested in volunteering to take part in Workwell?
This study is testing two different ways of providing work advice/ work rehabilitation for working people with inflammatory arthritis. It is being funded by Versus Arthritis. Treatment is provided remotely – via telephone or video call (Zoom/ Microsoft Teams) by occupational therapists who are part of the research team at the University of Salford.
We can now accept volunteers into the study. (You don’t need to be attending one of our 18 NHS hospitals taking part). You need to:
have either rheumatoid arthritis, early inflammatory arthritis or psoriatic arthritis
adult: 18 years and older
be currently in paid work for 15 hours a week or more. (This can include being self-employed, working from home or working at a different location to usual)
having some problems with working due to your arthritis
not planning to retire in the next 12 months
