Funded by Versus Arthritis and sponsored by the University of Salford, the WORKWELL trial has been a significant initiative, examining the impact of inflammatory arthritis conditions such as rheumatoid and psoriatic arthritis on work capability. After its first phase in December 2022, the trial has moved into a critical long-term evaluation.
This stage will help determine the sustained effects of workplace adaptations and support mechanisms on employment and productivity for those living with these conditions. As this phase nears its end, we anticipate sharing comprehensive results and insights by the close of 2024.
